I would
like to invite the girls in grade 2 to a Ladies
Literacy Lunch on Wednesday April 25th, 2012. If your daughter would like to attend this
event, please have her bring a brown bag (non -microwavable) lunch and her
favourite children’s book, chapter book or magazine. We will eat together and talk about why they
like the book they brought. It is my
hope that their excitement will encourage others to try a new book, author, or
series that might appeal to them. I
will supply some healthy snacks and dessert.
The girls will be given a brand new book to add to their home
library. This event is free and
completely voluntary.
