May 5th - May 9th

This week we have been busy working on Mother's Day projects.  Everyone chose to make something different.  I hope that you enjoy your Mother's Day weekend!

Some of our class played a fun game called "Guess My Sculpture" with playdoh. Some objects were very challenging to guess.

Our Genius Hour projects are almost complete.  Genius Hour is messy business! The process has been a great learning experience and I can't wait to see the final products. 

We went on a community scavenger hunt and discovered many things including a deer!

On our walk we found this message on our school sign.  We DO have an amazing group of students at our school!   I feel very fortunate to come to school and teach your child every day!  

Upcoming Dates:
May 14th:
- Run/jump/throw today!
- Swimming lessons start!
May 15th: School Dance - Canteen order forms were sent home on Friday.  Please put the order form and money in a small baggie/envelope and send it to school with your child on Thursday.
May 16th: NO SCHOOL (PD Day)
