This week we had Elder Byrd come in and talk with us about
Mother Earth. Ask your child to tell you about his visit!
Our school counsellor Mrs. Renwick came in and gave us a
refresher on the 5 point scale. She ended her presentation with an exciting volcano! We talked about ways to calm ourselves down when we are angry.
We learned about Terry Fox this week and watched this video in
class. On Thursday we went for a Terry Fox walk around the lake.
A big THANK YOU to Mrs. Lueken who came in last week to help get all of our computers set up for our classroom. We will start doing RAZ kids at school next week.
Many of your children have been doing RAZ kids at home and that is fantastic!! Hopefully this excitement for reading will last all year long!
